Maine's mountains run along the northern end of the Appalachians, from the western peaks near New Hampshire to Katahdin, the highest point at 5,268 feet (1,606 m) and the northern end of the Appalachian Trail. The interior is a rolling forest of lakes and rivers, and the coast is a long line of peninsulas, bays and islands, including Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park.

In the Ridgeline preview, the western mountains and Katahdin rise as tall, tight crests in the middle of the outline, the northern woods spread out as a field of smaller ripples, and the profiles end in a ragged edge along the coast in the south.

The preview is the Ridgeline export for Maine with dark lines on light paper, at 18 × 24 inches. In the creator you can adjust line density, perspective, colors and title, or switch the state to Contours, Strata or a 3D terrain model.
