Taiwan Topographic Map and 3D Model

Mountains run the length of Taiwan and fall steeply to the east coast, while the plains where most people live spread along the west. Yushan, or Jade Mountain, is the highest peak at 3,952 meters (12,966 feet), and more than 200 summits rise above 3,000 meters.

The artwork is the whole island cut to its outline, with the Penghu Islands and Kinmen in their true positions in the Taiwan Strait. In the Strata preview, the mountains rise through the lightest bands along the eastern half of the island and the plains fall to the lowest bands along the west coast.
