1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Printed Canyon ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Service Description
Printed Canyon is a web-based tool that generates 3D-printable terrain models from GPX track files. The Service processes uploaded GPS data, fetches terrain elevation data from publicly available digital elevation model (DEM) sources, and produces downloadable 3D model files in various formats (STL, 3MF, GLB).
3. Acceptable Use
You may use the Service for personal, educational, or commercial purposes. You agree not to: (a) upload malicious files or attempt to exploit the Service; (b) circumvent rate limits or access controls; (c) use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service; (d) redistribute the Service itself or claim it as your own product.
4. Payment & Pricing
Printed Canyon uses a pay-what-you-want model with no minimum — downloads can be free. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. All payments are final — due to the digital nature of the product, refunds are not offered except at our sole discretion. For full details, see our Refund Policy.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your GPX files and the terrain models generated from them. The terrain elevation data used is sourced from public domain datasets. Printed Canyon does not claim ownership of your generated models. The Printed Canyon name, logo, and website design are our intellectual property.
6. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Uploaded GPX files are processed temporarily and not stored permanently. We do not sell or share your data with third parties beyond what is necessary to provide the Service (e.g., Stripe for payment processing).
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not responsible for: (a) the accuracy of terrain data from third-party sources; (b) print failures or quality issues with generated models; (c) any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific model in question.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued prior to termination.
9. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
