Refund Policy

1. Overview
Printed Canyon provides digital goods — 3D-printable terrain model files generated from your GPX data. Because these files are delivered instantly upon purchase and are unique to your uploaded track, all sales are final by default. However, we understand that issues can arise, and we handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
2. Refund Eligibility
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if: (a) the generated model files are corrupted or cannot be opened; (b) the service failed to deliver your files after payment; (c) you were charged more than once for the same model. Refunds are not available for: (a) dissatisfaction with terrain detail or resolution, as these depend on publicly available elevation data; (b) print failures caused by your printer settings or hardware; (c) change of mind after downloading the files.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email hello@printedcanyon.com with: (a) the email address used during checkout; (b) the approximate date and amount of your purchase; (c) a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.
4. Refund Processing
All payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Approved refunds are issued back to your original payment method through Stripe. Refund processing times depend on your bank or card issuer, but typically take 5–10 business days after approval. Refunds are issued for the full amount paid — partial refunds are not available.
5. Chargebacks
If you have an issue with your purchase, please contact us at hello@printedcanyon.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks are costly for small businesses, and we are committed to resolving any legitimate issues quickly and fairly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in being unable to use the service in the future.
