Geirangerfjord rendered as a Strata poster, mountains in light elevation bands on both sides of the fjord
Strata export for Geirangerfjord, as rendered by the creator.

Geirangerfjord is a branch of the Storfjorden in western Norway, about 15 kilometers long, with steep walls and waterfalls such as the Seven Sisters. Together with the Nærøyfjord it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005 as the West Norwegian Fjords. The village of Geiranger sits at its head.

The curated map area is about 23 by 22 kilometers around the fjord and the village. In the Strata preview, the mountains rise in the lightest bands on both sides, and the fjord winds between them as a deep cut in the lowest bands.

The preview is the Strata export for this map area, generated from public global elevation data. In the creator you can change the palette, background and title, move the area, or switch to Ridgeline or Contours. Choose 3D Terrain Model to download the fjord as a printable STL or 3MF; the download credits the elevation source used.
