Arkansas Topographic Map Poster & 3D Model

The Arkansas Geological Survey describes the state as a highland area in the northwest and a lowland region in the south and east. The highlands take in the Ozark Plateaus, a thoroughly dissected area of steep valleys, and the Ouachita Mountains with their east–west ridges, and the Arkansas River Valley runs between the two.

Magazine Mountain in Logan County is the highest point at 2,753 feet (839 m), and the Ouachita River at the Louisiana line is the lowest, at about 55 feet (17 m).
