Nā Pali Coast rendered as a Ridgeline poster, fluted ridges rising from the sea in fine lines
Ridgeline export for Nā Pali Coast, as rendered by the creator.

The Nā Pali Coast runs about 17 miles (27 km) along the northwest shore of Kauaʻi, one of the oldest of the main Hawaiian Islands. Streams and waves have cut the flank of the island's ancient shield volcano into knife-edge ridges and deep valleys such as Kalalau, with cliffs rising as much as 4,000 feet (1,200 m) above the ocean. Much of the coast is protected in Nā Pali Coast State Wilderness Park, reached on foot by the Kalalau Trail.

The curated map area is about 31 by 27 kilometers along the coast. To show the cliffs, this preview views the island from the sea to the northwest: the camera azimuth is 135°, the vertical exaggeration is 100, and the frame is panned onto the land. The ridges rise from the front of the frame as pale green fins, with the valleys between them in deeper green and the high interior behind.

The preview is the Ridgeline export at 18 × 24 inches, generated from public elevation data. The creator opens with the default camera, so set the azimuth, vertical exaggeration and pan to match, or change the colors and title and switch to Strata or Contours. Choose 3D Terrain Model to download the coast as a printable STL or 3MF; the download credits the elevation source used.
